Each academic year, VCU School of Pharmacy’s Inova Campus enrolls up to 20 students who choose to complete their final two years (P3 and P4) on the campus of
Inova Fairfax Hospital. The Inova Campus’ commitment to patient care, research and education, combined with a long tradition of excellence on VCU’s Medical College of Virginia Campus, provides an exceptional learning opportunity.
At Inova Health System’s
flagship hospital, students gain the experience of studying at a world-class medical center. The location affords students the opportunity to work with an ethnically and culturally diverse patient population, committed medical staff and a full scope of patient care services.
The Inova Campus is dedicated to providing students with a high-quality education. The smaller class size, for example, translates to a great faculty-to-student ratio. Using interactive videoconferencing technologies, students stay connected to educational and student activities on the MCV Campus in Richmond. Teaching methods to help prepare students for the real-world application of their career choices include
Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences and personalized study.
Inova’s proximity to our nation’s capital also allows students to take advantage of a wide array of career and networking opportunities.
