Announcements ( September 10) :

P1 representative Position:

CAN YOU REPRESENT FOR YOUR CLASS?! If so then please email Gina Patel (patelgp@vcu.edu) to apply for the P1 rep position for SNPhA. Please submit a 1 paragraph statement on why you feel that you would be the best suited for the position and what experiences you have had that enable you to take on this responsibility. P1 rep is an executive position for SNPhA and duties will include: keeping exec  board up to date with class activities, liaison between exec and P1 students, and providing feedback to exec.  Submissions are due by Thursday, September 13th at 6pm. Please email Gina Patel (patelgp@vcu.edu) if you have any questions!

Volunteering Opportunities

September 11th :
Immunizations @ CrossOver Clinic: 5pm to 7pm
  • Provide counseling and education about medications
  • Assist with BG/BP as needed
  • *If certified assist with Immunizations
September 18th :
Thompson Middle School Health Fair: 6pm to 8pm
  • Education boards on HIV/AIDS, CKD, Diabetes
  • BG screenings as needed
September 22nd :
Healing Eagle Clinic: 9am to 12pm; 12pm to 3pm @ Mattaponi Indian Reservation
  • Help to stock, keep up to date, and dispense medications to patients seen.
  • Present education boards on HIV/AIDS, CKD, Diabetes
  • Provide BG screenings if needed. 

September 25th :

3. How do I sign up for events?

  • Look out for our emails, and check on our SNPhA websites, and google signup sheets!!  
  • All events sign up have been placed in one spreadsheet. Please check back often for new service opportunities
