As the role of drug therapy continues to expand within the treatment and prevention of disease, the VCU School of Pharmacy is at the forefront of scientific discovery and innovation in pharmacotherapy. New drugs now manage or cure previously untreatable conditions while existing drugs are replacing hospitalization, surgery, and emergency services. Our faculty are agents of change in the developing fields of genomics, informatics, and pharmacotherapy .
