Research Interests
- The research of our group involves the analytical chemistry of biological systems. We believe we are one of the most active groups of this kind in the World. Our work includes investigation of novel instrumental and chemical approaches to provide improved selectivity and sensitivity for quantitative analysis of drugs in biological samples. In past research, we have employed separation approaches such as capillary electrophoresis, and capillary electrochromatography; validation and control approaches for analytical methods; laser induced fluorescence, chemical derivatization to improve detection; chemiluminescence detection in liquid chromatography; on-line immunoreaction detectors and far-red solution spectroscopy. The research laboratory works in conjunction with a well equipped, state of the art bioanalytical core facility that provides students with "real world" experience and a steady source of research funding.

The publications search is performed on the
National Library of Medicine's PubMed database. The search may be slow during
high traffic hours, may return articles authored by another researcher with a similar
name and may not always find all of a researcher's articles.
